I know this has been asked many time -but

Ok I have just got myself a Presto 1-D cutting head 500ohms


How do I drive this or should I get it rewound to 8ohms

I am thinking of sending it to Gib.

here you a have a good kits amps, with lateral mosfets, vertical, and bipolar transistors...in U.S.

I read in the PSW forum that any "good" amplifier served to cut, and that had very little distorsion in high frequencies and good coherence of phase...

The amplifier that I use has the same philosophy, and at the moment I do not complain Very Happy
