How would I do this? I have a gig coming up, and I want to ensure that everything coming from the speakers is mono.
I'm guessing you sum the positives, and then the negatives.
Something like:
| Code: |
______+ L __ ______ + L _______
CART. \_/ TONE ARM
______+ R __/ \ ______ + R _______
______- L __ ______ - L _______
CART. \_/ TONE ARM
______- R __/ \ ______ - R _______

| Yes, that's right. You could do it with little pieces of wire at the cartridge pins where the connectors push on OR with Y adaptors between the turntable output cables and the preamp. Plug the L/R output cables into a 2 female to 1 male Y adaptor then split that back into both L/R phono inputs with a 1 female to 2 male Y. |
