hello all !
just got a presto k 8 with 2 broken tubes... the 2 big ones if you see.
do you know if the both has same power ?
vt-80 tung-sol + sylvania n6r ?
or 2 sylvania n6r are ok ?

If it's like my k10 and k6, the k-8 should have 3 big glass tubes: one is a type 80 rectifier and the other 2 are type 45 triodes. The chassis should have the corresponding number stamped into it next to the tube socket. I'm not familiar with the N6R, I didn't think there were any viable substitutes for 45 triodes.
