almost done on my installation of my new vms70.
Of course last minute issues-
Bought helium tank from private party and no one will fill it.
so have to buy one from local dealer. Both local dealers could not help me with which regulator to buy but just before buying one from welding supply found exact one on ebay cheap.
Which leads me to--trying to get the correct adapters to get down to this tiny hose...

anyone?

lol JayDC, no, its not supposed to be liquid. liquid helium wouldn't do any cooling. It is liquid in the bottle and as soon as it comes out it expands into gas (which makes it cooler) and this cool gas flows through the head Smile

problem is standard hose connection on 99% of all helium regulators. finding regulator with low pressure readout hard since need to stay around 1-2psi.
going to be many adapters in a chain i think...to get down to this small hose

will post up pics taken from final stages of setting it up this week

This may be too late as you may have already found the solution.

The originals I have seen used Matheson regulators to get the PSI below 10, usually around 5. They then went into a Brooks Mite (trademark) flowmeter for the fine tuning and ran around .05 S.C.F.H. A little bit more Helium is better than a little bit less Very Happy
