has anyone experimented had any luck with cutting on these. i have a presto 8-k lathe and have had some ok results but mostly really noisy sounds are the most audible. ive modded my lathe so the record/flexi can fit on there somewhat snug anlong with a hole punch that i punch into the flexi. never been 100% psyched on my results with cutting but i was hoping to see how far i could get with using these and getting decent results.

I have some of these. I am so new that I don't know how helpful my experience will be, but I find they are fairly noisy. Also, I need to use a hole adapter which makes it nearly impossible to properly secure it to the platter. Sometimes this results in the cutter holding the disc in place as the turntable spins underneath it. booo.

If I can rig up a fix for that problem, I think they would be good for testing and fun noise cuts.

Like I said though, take it with a grain of salt. Someone who knows what they're doing may find they are great.
