Acording to vinylcarvers they use 'plates are made of a solid black, vinyl–like material
All records are also available completely clear
The sound quality is equally high on all typesuse'

and know if can be cut with a saphire...

you get it only if you buy a vinylrecorder from souri, and you cannot cut it with sapphiere - you need a diamond
