I've seen that a few people cut on the clear plastic plates from the grocery store. I seem to get a really loud hum out of these plates.
Does anyone have any suggestions on a clear material that cuts with a minimal hum?

A long time ago I discovered the soundscriber dictation machine that I wish I had now. The best I fond to "cut" on (those things emboss) is the acetate used for project folders....
