Hi:

Does anyone here know what the cabinet covering material is on Presto products. The material on both my K8 and 6N is the same. Any ideas as where to find something at least close to this?

Thanks

Doug

Antique Electronic Supply has a variety of so-called "tolex" guitar amp cover material including "snakeskin".

To Steve E.,
I know there is a resources page but I keep seeing people ask for the same stuff over and over.
Could we have a "sticky" there with the names and URLs of people like Transco, Apollo, HRS Records, West-Tech, Alan Grave's Presto site, Antique Electronic supply and any others you can think of along with a line or 2 about what they supply or info they have?
That way new people would not have to either search through the posts or ask about common things for the same answers over and over.

OK, actually I see there is already one there and it has some of the stuff.
Perhaps just call it something else and re-group all the most relevant stuff at the top. I can't tell you how many people I have seen post on here that don't know where to get a stylus, lacquers, a rubber turntable drive component, a head rebuilt, info on a Presto etc.
