i finally got this old sound scribe working ( sorta) but it had a thin piece of what seemed like plastic came with it?very wobbly and such, it had a recording of some old dude talking about fishing nets. I am very new to this and am very interested in cutting, so does anyone have suggestions of objects/things/materials to cut onto ? or have any idea what type of plastic i am talking about?????

any help at all would be awsome!
