Nixiebunny sold me his wonderful Presto 6N lathe (with Presto D1 cutter) and accompanying 92A amp:

Sooo....I need some help.
1) Most importantly, I don't have the original manual for the 92A amp. Can anyone posts scans of it? I really don't understand the thing, and I want to be able to adjust it without ruining it. Is there a place to wire in a microphone, or just a line level?
2) Echoing an ongoing concern around here, I need more feed screws. I have a 112 (kinda wide) and a 240 (very narrow). It would be great to have a 160 and/or 180.
Someone could make a killing manufacturing more of these jobbies in good quality. At least 4 people would buy them. Probably a few more.
3) I would like to buy a decent 16" playback tonearm for this. A Shure or Rek-o-kut would do.
4) I'll take any anecdotes or advice from others who are used to this equipment.
thanks! |

Steve:
I have a schematic for the 92 amp and can give you some info on feed screws if you have a local machinist that you could work with. Heading home right now, but leave me a message with questions and I might be able to help you. |
