Can you send them back to apollo or transco? Not sure what to do with these..

run a nail over them and sell them on ebay for decoration purposes...

Yes, you can return them for partial credit.
I think whoever your Transco or Apollo source is will give you a dollar for each one you turn back in, in groups of 25 (or 40 in a box without all the spacers).
