Rats. In my infinite wisdom, I put some scotch tape on a perfectly good acetate blank, and now, when I peel it off, there is residue. How can I clean it off? I am under the impression that putting water on acetate is a no-no. Alcohol?

I just googled "Cleaning acetates" and, to summarize:

Alcohol is a NO NO.

People recommend:

--rubber cement. brush it on, let it sit, peel it off
--windex (!!)
--deionized water with a mild detergent (like Joy).

I'm going to try Windex. Worse comes to worst I've lost a $5 acetate side.
