| from looking at the packaging of NOS needles, it seems that they made provisions for returning them for resharpening. obviously the companies aren't around anymore but could a skilled jeweler resharpen them? any one tried it? |

| I contacted Transco, about the only people still making lacquer blanks; they have styli for sale but do not resharpen. There must be someone doing this! |

ask with a dealer for cutting tools for drilling machinery or dental-tooht lathes
