I finally got a lathe a bell rc 47 from ebay but it needs work. I replaced the power cord and it powers on and the turntable spins. I put the selecter on one setting I can't see the settings and I get static when I touch the 2 wires on the play back arm so it needs a needle but I tried the other settings and I tapped the recording arm and i get no sound. That arm has no cutting needle and the wires are all shielded so touching them does not do any thing. How does the head come off so I can touch the ends to see if I get static out of that function of the player. It also came with a microphone thanks
